This website is dedicated to the history of St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church of Erie, Pennsylvania; and to all the Priests, Sisters, and Parishioners, past and present who have contributed to its rich history.

This website is not an official Parish website, and not affiliated with the Diocese of Erie or the Latin Mass Community.

Effective February 13, 2017, St. Hedwig Parish of Erie was merged into St. Stanislaus Parish of Erie. St. Hedwig Church is now a secondary church.
“St. Hedwig Church is to remain open to the faithful at least occasionally for sacred worship, whether public or private (cf. can 1214).”  They will be open for baptisms, weddings, and funerals, and for the solemnity of the anniversary of the Church’s dedication and the Church’s feast day.
